Anna doesn't have enough milk for twins. The larger of the two was doing fine. The other was falling behind rapidly. So, now he's being supplemented with some of my frozen ewe milk from last year. He's wearing a cute little sweater, too. I let them out of the lambing jug yesterday. It was a chilly, windy day, but sunny. The yearling ewes love the idea that that they are no longer on the bottom of the pecking order.
Our pastures aren't "grazeable" yet, so on warm afternoons I let the ewes out to forage in the woods and grass along the cornfield. The unbred ewes and yearlings race out there, while the fat preggos waddle behind.
Fancy, the flying ewe is eager to check out those new babies!
