Esther had two beautiful black ewe lambs this afternoon. We bought Esther last year as a bred ewe during the Tongue River Farm dispersal. Unfortunately, she wasn't bred, she just needed another year to mature. The lambs were 4.5 and 5 lb., very noisy and vigorous and appear to have horn buds. So far, Esther looks like she will be an excellent momma. She's the wildest girl we have, but has settled into the lambing jug just fine for the night. So happy with these girls! Echo is the sire.
